"showing out those party eyes "

"showing out those party eyes"

I've been wanting to test out makeup revolution for such a long time, but i couldn't find a superdrug store that stocked them. Untill i came home to london and the store in located 5 minutes from my house happened to sell them, so i treated my self to 2 of the gift boxes they had.

I am so happy with the items i received within the boxes and after almost a month of testing them out im extremely happy to say THIS BRAND IS INCREDIBLE.

This review is all about the makeup revolution "showing out" eyeshadow pallet, on the back of the gift set this pallete came in it says "the exclusive eyeshadow pallete" so according to my box its a exclusive pallet.
The pallete comes in quite standard packaging which i prefer, if the packaging is too bold it takes your attention away from the actual products inside.
The packaging is a black plastic container, a see through lid and the writing "make up revolution" in gold.

yes the packaging is dirty I like to test products
before reviewing and I'm not a photo hoarder
Within the packaging you have a double sided eyeshadow brush with 2 pads on either side, the brush is also black and contains the writing makeup revolution in gold.

You have 12 eye shadow within the packaging, the colours are absolutely stunning and incredibly pigmented.

Most of the eyeshadows are crazily pigmented, but a few of them are very light and doesn't have much pigment within, so when applying you hace to use a bit more then normal to make it noticeable.
The colours which are NOT very pigmented are white, off white baby pink, baby pink, and metallic silver. Its only 4 out of the 12 that have low pigmentation.

this pallet is amazing I'm so glad I brought this pallet as my first, my favourite colour in this pallet is the gold its just so pretty and shiny it just looks incredible on with a pair of beautiful false lashes to compliment the colour of eye shadow.

I don't know if anyone else has tried this out but OMG you need to I've fallen in love with this pallet so would you.

Real techniques limited edition

Real techniques
If you follow my Instagram or twitter you would know that my most favourite make up brushes are the real techniques by Samantha chapman.
these brushes was created by a professional makeup artist who wanted to create affordable, high-end  brushes that you can buy in such stores as boots and Superdrug's.
I for Christmas I got 5 more real techniques brushes I have a huge collection already but I really wanted the limited edition cuts so my dad,
(he was in charge of buying gifts this year due to my mother working)
went and brought me them after searching for while as most dads do not know anything about makeup let alone makeup brushes.
the brushes come in a square black box with a see through lid, within the box there is 5 brushes placed very carefully in a foam square shape, the foam has a array of colours on the box ranging from purple, pink and orange in a few cool patterns.
on the back of the box you have a description of Samantha chapman and what the five brushes in the box do and what ones are the special cuts.

The brushes that come in the box are....

  • duo-fiber face brush: for lightweight application + blending of face powder or pigments
  • cheek brush (set exclusive): evenly applies makeup across cheekbone for a more dramatic finish
  • angled shadow brush (set exclusive): perfectly cut for layering eye shadow in the crease
  • base shadow brush: applies a smooth, flawless foundation of colour
  • eyeliner brush (set exclusive): firm, angled head for optimal control along lash line

  • I haven't used every brush in this collection yet as there so beautiful and I would hate to ruin them (yes I know you buy makeup brushes to use)
the brushes I have used are
    1.eyeliner brush
    2.duo-fiber
    3.blusher brush
these brushes have been amazing and I can't wait to use the rest of them to see how much they make a difference to a everyday makeup routine.
Once my brushes have been used more ill post a review about them.

    The I ♡ Christmas tag

It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Its Christmas,  which can only call for the i ♡ Christmas tag, for those who don't know the tag is basically just letting the public know what you do and love over Christmas.

    1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie
Ever since i was a little girl maybe 5 or even younger, i have absolutely adored nightmare before Christmas, you can't go wrong with it its a incredible Christmas movie.9
also Santa clause is one of my favourites number 2 is always the best to watch as so much stuff happens.
    2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
I've always been someone who opens one present on Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas morning with the rest of the family.
    3. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Who doesn't?, every Christmas eve i watch harry potter and nightmare before Christmas and santa clause they just get me super happy and excited for the morning.
    4. Favourite Christmas memory?
My favourite Christmas memory has to be when my litrle brother was 2 years old and really understood what Christmas was, he was so excited he woke up at 4 am and him just opening all his presents was amazing.

    5. Favourite Christmas scent?
I haven't got a favourite scent but i have loads of smells i like, freshly cooked gingerbread, the smell 9f a real Christmas tree, the christmas day dinner cooking (the smell of turkey) etc.

    6. Favourite festive food?
My favourite festive food is my Christmas day dinner its amazing, my nan thought my mum and aunt her recpies for Christmas day and it feels like there's a massive part of her with us every year.

    7. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
The best part of Christmas for me is seeing my brother so excited to be playing with his new toys and seeing my cousins all excited.
Spending time with my family is amazing as i live so far away from them.
Of course you cant forget the doctor who Christmas day special its always such a incredible  show.
    8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
It really all depends on the time we have, if we get a real Christmas tree its involves a lot of cleaning up afterwards so its all to-do with the time we have spare during the Christmas period.
    9. Do You Like To Stay in Your PJs Or Dress Up For Christmas?
I always get greatly dressed up for Christmas as we usually go o my aunts as she has more room in her house we are a huge family.
its always lovely seeing my hole family dressed up as like most people in the world not everyone dresses up.

    10. Any Christmas Wishes?
none that pop out to me at this moment in time apart from having THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER.

    technic eyelashes.

    the technic eyelashes

I've always been a huge fan of fake eye lashes ever since I discovered they make my tiny little eyes look a lot bigger and defined, you see my eyes with out eyelashes are the tiniest things, the curse of the small faces.

usually I wear the eylure lashes as they do a pair of lashes called petite which fit absolutely perfect on people with smaller eyes, or the even the Nadine girls aloud ones as they make the lashes look longer on tiny eyes.

A few weeks ago I went into a store called savers (for those who don't know savers is a discount store located in England all around the country) and they had a pair of eyelashes in there that was absolutely amazing they fit so perfectly on my eyes, they wasn't itchy, they was just amazing, but silly me didn't save the packet, as I have a eyelash box to hold them, so when I left them at my parents house when I went to visit I couldn't remember what they was called to buy a new pair.
I went into a store called body care its very similar to savers, and hey had a few lashes in the store so I thought oh why not you cant really go wrong for £1.00 and £1.79.

*all of my photos are my own and all my eyelashes are on my own eyes with no makeup*

technic fancy lashes £1.00 //  Original starting price £2.99

the technic eyelashes come in a large white box and blue writing, these eyelashes are made with a black strip which I personally would apply black eyeliner on my eye before applying my lashes also I would apply my mascara before placing they eyelashes on my eyes, this just stops the eyelashes becoming clumpy and it makes them last a lot longer.
now im more use to having more real feeling eyelashes as I find that plastic ones irritate my eyes a great amount.
they look beautiful on, but for something called fancy lashes and they don't look very fancy they look a lot more natural to me.

technic natural lashes £1.79 // Original starting price £2.99

these eye lashes are called natural, they look absolutely stunning on as you can seen in the  image above.
these eyelashes have a clear band as you can see so you haven't got to apply eyeliner if you don't wish to but I would suggest applying mascara so you can blend the natural lashes with the fake ones.
in my personal thoughts I would have had these lashes as the fancy ones as they are very dramatic and large and just look more glamorous compared to the fancy lashes which look more natural.

The primanary advent calender week one

In December everyone has a advent calender, but this year I was rather sick at the end of November, so I didn't have a chance to get the one I wanted, I originally wanted the no7 by boots, or the benefit one but sadly i couldn't get my hands on one being so ill, so I brought the primark 24 days of jewellery.
this is a weekly post to show what I got in my calendar.

I first saw this on the primark website and though "ooo that's pretty cool" so when I went in store I just had to buy one, the original price on this was £10.00 but as I got my on the second of December it was reduced to 5 pound.

so here's what i received in my primark 24 days of jewellery calendar first week.

    Day 1&2
Day 1. I received a set of swallow silver earrings they aren't to big and look beautiful when on.
Day2. I received a set of gold out lined heart earrings, these are rather large and as i have my ear stretched i don't think i could wear them.

    Day 3&4

Day 3. I received a pair of gold lock and key earrings but unfortunately these are once again rather large.  Day 4. I received a middi silver ring this is absolutely stunning it is such a nice design.

    Day 5&6

Day 5. When i opened my door i saw a pair of silver earrings which match door number 4.
Day 6. I got a silver love heart bracelet which is super cute and girly .

    Day 7.
I received a a pair of silver lovw heart earrings which match with day 6.

    make up revolution birthday haul

(warning contains loads of pictures and swatches on my arms, also tattoos)
this is not a review (review to come soon) this is a birthday haul

when I saw a few reviews on make-up revolution I thought this make up brand looks amazing and I decided to get my little bum down to Superdrug and have a look at there awesome collection, when i went to Superdrug though it was actually a lot harder then I thought to get a hold of the product as not every Superdrug store actually stocks the brand.

after i visted about 5 different stores i finally found 2 stores that stock Make-up revolution, YES YES i know i could of ordered them online and picked them up in store or even had them delivered, but im the type of person (when trying a new brand) who likes to look and actually decided if i like the colour as things online always look different in person.

    the items i brought are
box set #1 contour kit £10.00
when I saw the box set #1 contour kit I knew I had to have it this kit is amazing in every way, I've always had great difficulty finding a kit that works great for my skin type, when I was in superdrug I had picked up a few makeup brushes and a contouring kit and as it being so close to Christmas I thought i'd go take a look at the box sets they always do at Christmas and I saw this and it just jumped out at me I had heard so much about how good the contour kit was from other peoples reviews and I thought why not its £10.00 you cant go wrong with it.
this kit contains a large bronzer, a little bronzer, blusher, highlighter and a 3 piece brush set.
    (review to come soon)

box set #2 eye set £12.50

when I saw this kit I thought wow 12.50 that is incredibly cheap and looks absolutely beautiful, I was going to be buying the eye shadow pallet anyway as I heard there a good company for dupe eye shadow of larger more expensive brands. (other peoples views) and when I saw the kit it was a lot better value for money buying the kit rather then buying everything separately and from what I can see from the swatches I've done the eye shadow is incredibly pigmented which is great as you always what your eye shadow on show, also the lip gloss is beautifully bright and shinny.
this kit contains  a black liquid eyeliner, a pencil liner, a glitter eyeliner, a mirror, 3 lip gloss, 3 nail polishes and a 12 shade eye shadow palate and also a contour pallet 3 piece (same as above picture) .

cover and conceal palette shade light £6.00
a friend of mine brought the cover and conceal pallet and she absolutely adored it, she suggested it to me as I suffer with terrible bags under my eyes and have always struggled to be able to cover them
up, i've used this once and I can happily say WOW it worked incredibly.
    light pallet containing 6 concealers.

lipstick shades the one and vamp £1.00 each
I saw these 2 lipsticks and loved the colours they are adorable and perfect for the winter months.
